Manama, November 2 (BNA) Undersecretary of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs for Political Affairs, Dr. Sheikh Abdullah bin Ahmed Al Khalifa received today a delegation of members of the US Congress as part of their official visit to the Kingdom of Bahrain.
The Undersecretary for Political Affairs welcomed the American delegation, stressing the keenness of the Kingdom of Bahrain to enhance cooperation and strategic partnership and exchange experiences with the United States of America in various fields to achieve the common interests of the two countries and peoples.
During the meeting, they reviewed ways to enhance bilateral cooperation and discussed the most prominent regional and international developments and issues of common interest, within the framework of the two countries’ keenness to consolidate security, peace and stability in the region and the world. .
