Manama, Mar. 30 (BNA): The Chairman of the Sunni Endowments Council, Dr. Sheikh Rashid Al-Hajri, announced the completion of maintenance work for the Bazah Al-Barrak Mosque in Hamad Town and the Sheikh Salman Mosque in Riffa.
His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister, has ordered the renovation of 30 mosques run by the Sunni and Jaafari Endowments Department across the country.
Dr. Al-Hajri praised the sponsorship of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa for mosques, pointing out that the decision of His Highness the Emir and Prime Minister reflects a continuous keenness to renew mosques.
He praised the sponsorship and follow-up of the Minister of Justice, Islamic Affairs and Endowments, who formed a working group to renovate mosques and submit reports.
