Turkish President honours Royal Guard’s search and rescue taskforce

Manama, April 26 (BNA): Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan awarded the Order of the State and the Order of the Great Sacrifice to the search and rescue team of the Royal Guard of the Bahrain Defense Force.

The honor comes in appreciation of the tremendous efforts made by the Royal Guard Task Force during the “Relief Weapons” mission to support those affected by the devastating earthquake that struck Turkey and Syria, in line with the directives of His Majesty King Hamad. bin Isa Al Khalifa, Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces, and with the support of His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Crown Prince, Deputy Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces, Prime Minister.

The search and rescue team’s mission was also supported by the Commander-in-Chief of the Bahrain Defense Force, Field Marshal Sheikh Khalifa bin Ahmed Al Khalifa, and directly followed up by the National Security Adviser, Commander of the Royal Guard, Major General His Highness Sheikh Nasser bin Hamad. Al Khalifa.

The medal was received by the commander of the Search and Rescue Division of the Royal Guard, Major Fadl Ali Al Nuaimi.

President Erdogan expressed his appreciation to His Majesty the King, Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces, for his sincere feelings, wishing the Kingdom of Bahrain and its people continued security, progress and prosperity.

He also expressed his thanks to the government and people of Bahrain for their solidarity with Turkey during the natural disaster.

President Erdogan praised the efforts made by the officers and members of the Bahraini search and rescue team to provide assistance to those affected by the earthquake, and to detect the victims professionally, and in accordance with the highest standards of security and safety.
