Transportation Minister receives US Export Import Bank President

Manama, Feb. 23 (BNA): Minister of Transport and Communications, Mohammed bin Thamer Al-Kaabi, received Rita Jo Lewis, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the American Export-Import Bank.

The meeting discussed ways to enhance cooperation between the ministry and the US Export-Import Bank, encourage investment in the various projects of the ministry, and advance partnership with the private sector.

The minister reviewed the efforts of the Kingdom of Bahrain in developing infrastructure, logistics services and the communications sector to achieve sustainable development.
