Manama, August 17 (BNA) The Minister of Transport and Communications, Mohammed bin Thamer Al Kaabi, stressed the importance of academic studies aimed at shedding light on successful government practices and linking them to the achievements of ministries and government departments.
He was speaking during his meeting here today, the researcher and media affairs advisor in the office of the Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Infrastructure Waleed Khalid Al-Sheikh, who presented him with a copy of his master’s degree thesis that he obtained from the University of Bahrain. Under the slogan “Government Communication and its Role in Highlighting the Development Projects Listed in the Government’s Action Plan 2019-2022”.
The Minister praised the study and its results, indicating that its results showed that the Ministry of Transport and Communications is leading the way in using government communication, its fees and mechanisms to highlight the development projects entrusted to it within the government’s action plan, especially the new ones. Passenger terminal chosen as the best new airport in the world at the Skytrax 2022 World Airport Awards held at the Passenger Terminal Expo in Paris, France.
He wished Counselor Walid Al-Sheikh continued success and payment.
Al-Sheikh expressed his thanks and appreciation to the Minister for the warm reception, praising the support provided to him by the Ministry of Transport during the conduct of his study, and said that he contributed to its success.
