Milan, November 19 / BNA / Italy’s largest union of metal workers, FIM-CISL, said on Friday that the transition to electric cars puts 60,000 jobs in the country at risk.

“Despite complaints and requests from unions and companies, the government did not include in the budget law any intervention to support a sector that has been overshadowed by the changes brought about by the transformation in the field of energy and the environment,” said Ferdinando Uliano, Prime Minister, in a statement.
