the opportunity

Our team is looking for high caliber individuals to join us at the manager level. We work on the most complex and well-known global transactions across a wide range of clients and industry sectors. Our team consists of industry-experienced professionals with a background in operations and are transaction-chain consultants, enabling us to offer a wealth of deep and functional knowledge to our clients. As a team, we prepare and implement separation and integration plans, identify ideas and sources of value enhancement through synergy assessment, as well as advise on risk mitigation and successful change of processes, functions and people.

Your main responsibilities

As a Manager in a TSE practice, you will spend your time working on operations focused projects in various sectors and supporting our Customer Service team in developing and implementing transaction strategies. Part of your role will also include developing expertise across a range of different task types, including pre-deal (eg operational and operational planning) and post-deal (eg integration and traceability planning). Having a business mindset is key to this focused advisory role.

Manage TSE project teams in delivering high quality work to clients.
Collaborate with colleagues across Strategy and Transactions (SaT) sub-service lines as required.

Assists in engaging with pursuits and pitches, including presentations and client meetings.

Build strong working relationships with clients, including the ability to influence, advise and support key decision makers.

To qualify for the role you must have

Bachelor’s degree in Business, Accounting, Finance, Engineering or Information Technology and at least 5 years of relevant work experience; OR Postgraduate degree and at least 4 years of relevant work experience.
Excellent analytical skills and confidence in translating complex data into meaningful insights.
Experience in business integration and/or divestment of investments and/or deductions with demonstrated ability to quantitative and qualitative analysis.
Experience in leading and managing teams in complex work environments.
Ability to perform detailed assessments of technology operations or manufacturing infrastructure.
– Ability to synthesize complex approaches to integration / abstraction conflicts.
Ability to effectively prioritize projects and skills to quickly adapt to new challenges and concepts.
Excellent negotiation and influence skills and the ability to develop long-term relationships internally and externally.
– You must be willing and able to travel up to 80% on short notice

Ideally, you will also have

A proven track record of excellence in the role of mergers or acquisitions.
Experience gained in another large professional services organization.
Create networking skills in a related industry.
– MBA from a reputable business school/university.
