Toyota says it will start making up for lost production in December

TOKYO, Nov. 12 (BNA) Toyota Motor Co. (7203.T), the world’s best-selling auto maker, said Friday that it will start to make up for lost production from a lack of supplies in December, as factories in Japan return to work. Normal for the first time in seven months.

According to Reuters, Toyota said it plans to produce about 800,000 cars globally in December, up from about 760,000 a year earlier, and maintains its plan to produce 9 million cars worldwide during the fiscal year ending March 31.
