Tourism Minister supports tourism education

Manama, April 2 (BNA): Minister of Tourism, Fatima bint Jaafar Al-Sairafi, met Dr. Bradley J. Cook, President of the American University in Bahrain, and Professor Yusra Mozaqi, President of the Royal University for Women.

The meeting discussed the importance of cooperation between the Ministry of Tourism and the higher education sectors to promote educational tourism in Bahrain.

The minister emphasized the diversity of higher academic programs in Bahrain, as nothing supports educational tourism that provides more study options for students, based on the quality of education and training index in the performance of higher education institutions.

Al-Serafi indicated that the exchange of experiences will enhance the growth of educational tourism in the Kingdom.

She indicated that higher education institutions in Bahrain are working to develop the international student system, provide distinguished educational services, and integrate tourism into educational plans.
