The Prime Minister’s Office organises sports event to mark Bahrain Sports Day

Manama, Feb. 2 (BNA): The Prime Minister’s Office organized a sports event on the occasion of Bahrain Sports Day, which was attended by the Prime Minister’s Office staff.

The Director General of the Project Management Office, Hamad bin Yaqoub Al Mahmeed, emphasized that Bahrain Sports Day highlights the importance of adopting an active and healthy lifestyle culture, which contributes to the promotion of public health. In this regard, Al-Mahmeed noted the commitment of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa and His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister, to the commitment and support of the sports sector in the Kingdom.

Al Mahmeed highlighted the commitment shown by the PMO staff in their participation in the event and its activities, which furthers the goal of the National Sports Day.

Al-Mahmeed praised the extensive sporting achievements achieved by the Kingdom, affirming the commitment and support of His Majesty the King’s representative for humanitarian work and youth affairs, His Highness Sheikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa, and First Vice President of the Supreme Council for Youth. And Sports Chairman of the General Authority for Sports and President of the Bahrain Olympic Committee His Highness Sheikh Khalid bin Hamad Al Khalifa for the sector.

Al Mahmeed praised the Kingdom’s efforts to promote an active lifestyle and raise awareness of its importance in improving public health and quality of life for all.
