Manama, Nov. 27 (BNA): Following the directives of His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister, the Office of the Prime Minister announced today that it has received applications for participation in the fifth edition of the Presidency of the Council of Ministers programme. Government Innovation Competition “Fikra” from November 27 to December 27, 2022.
Fikra aims to develop government work streams and promote a culture of creativity and innovation in line with the principles of sustainability, competitiveness and fairness contained in Bahrain’s Economic Vision 2030, which will contribute to the comprehensive development of the Kingdom under the leadership of His Majesty King Hamad. The launch of the fifth edition of the competition enhances the participation of public sector employees in contributing to the Kingdom’s national development, as evidenced by previous winning ideas that are being implemented.
Participants can submit their ideas individually or in groups (up to a maximum of 4 individuals per group), through the Prime Minister’s Office website at: www.pmo.gov.bh
Ideas should focus on ways to further develop government services or improve efficiency and performance.
All applications will be subject to an initial review, and interviews with those participating in the selected ideas will be conducted by the relevant members of the evaluation committee.
