Manama, March 28 / BNA / After reviewing the latest developments and epidemiological data, the National Medical Task Force to Combat Coronavirus (Covid-19) announced today the suspension of the traffic light system at the (Covid-19) alert level in the Kingdom. Monday, March 28, 2022, until further notice.
The task force stated that mask wearing is now optional in both indoor and outdoor areas according to precautionary guidelines, except for health facilities and areas where instructions are issued otherwise.
The team stressed the importance of wearing a mask, especially when high-risk individuals, such as the elderly and those with chronic conditions, are in the company.
The task force indicated that the mitigation efforts made by the Kingdom of Bahrain have proven to be effective, and stressed the importance of continuing to follow health measures to protect public health.
