The Deputy Prime Minister and Minister for Infrastructure concludes the ‘Future Aspirations Workshops’

Manama, August 15 (BNA) The Government of Bahrain concluded the “Future Aspirations Workshops” at Isa Cultural Center on Monday, August 15, 2022. The final workshop was held after a series of workshops and coordination meetings between executives in Isa Town. Various government agencies.

The Future Aspirations workshops are held in implementation of the directives of His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister, to identify the main priorities that will shape the future goals of the government.

His Excellency Sheikh Khalid bin Abdullah Al Khalifa, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Infrastructure, affirmed that the “Future Aspirations Workshops” come as a result of the government’s commitment to advance development paths at all levels, to achieve the Kingdom’s wide-ranging goals.

His Excellency Sheikh Khalid indicated that five introductory workshops were held, preceded by five coordination meetings in which 57 different government agencies participated.

His Excellency Sheikh Khalid stressed that the essence of government work is focused on serving citizens who remain at the heart of all development efforts, stressing the importance of setting strategic priorities in line with the Kingdom’s comprehensive development plan and Bahrain Economic Vision 2030 based on principles. Sustainability, equity and competitiveness.

The Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Infrastructure indicated that the five workshops produced 27 policies and 113 initiatives for consideration for the next phase of government work, which included infrastructure, environment, legislative work, social services, financial and economic work, and government performance. and digital transformation.

During the workshop, the Minister of Cabinet Affairs, His Excellency Hamad bin Faisal Al-Maliki, presented a summary of the policies and initiatives, indicating that they would be presented to the Government’s Executive Committee.
