Thai Culture Minister receives Bahraini Ambassador

Bangkok, February 18 (BNA) The Minister of Culture of the Kingdom of Thailand, Etheful Khonblum, received the Ambassador of the Kingdom of Bahrain to the Kingdom of Thailand, Mona Abbas Mahmoud Radi.

During the meeting, the minister stressed the importance of strengthening cultural relations between the two countries, considering it a soft force for rapprochement between peoples, with regard to participation in art exhibitions, food festivals, films, fashion and handicrafts, in light of these two matters. Arab countries celebrate the forty-fifth anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between them.

The ambassador praised the distinguished relations between the two countries, referring to the long history and culture of the creative industry in its various cultural and artistic colors, stressing the importance of supporting joint cultural cooperation efforts that would deepen bilateral relations. This includes paths of qualitative cooperation, exchange of visits at all levels, organizing joint cultural festivals and art exhibitions for folklore, heritage and folk arts, as well as benefiting from the cultural movement and the return of life to normal during the post-Corona pandemic phase. Especially in light of the readiness of the Bahrain Authority for Culture and Antiquities and the effects of the 16th Spring of Culture Festival.
