Teenagers rescue Dortmund with late 3-1 win in Freiburg

Berlin, Aug. 13 (BUS): Two teenagers helped Borussia Dortmund come back from behind with late goals to beat its host Freiburg 3-1 in the German Bundesliga on Friday.

All of Dortmund coach Eden Terzic’s substitutions paid off, as 18-year-old Jimmy Benno-Gettens tied in the 77th minute and 17-year-old Yusuf Mukoko tied the score 2-1, four minutes before Marius Wolf served. Alternative – to stamp the result in 88.

The Associated Press (AP) reported that this is the first time that three different players have scored as a substitute for Dortmund in a Bundesliga match.

France striker Anthony Modeste made his Dortmund debut after moving from Cologne on Monday, and defender Nico Schlutterbeek quickly returned to his former club.
