Manama, Mar. 13 (BNA): Bahraini triathlete Henri Schoemann won the Arena Games Circuit in Switzerland, and finished first in the race.
His Highness Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Representative of His Majesty the King for Humanitarian Work and Youth Affairs, Chairman of the Supreme Council for Youth and Sports, praised the achievement.
“The team is progressing steadily to reap the external achievements that reflect Bahrain’s economic vision 2023,” he said, noting that the team includes talented members who are able to achieve them.
His Highness Sheikh Nasser renewed his support for the team to continue writing successes in international competitions to honor the Kingdom of Bahrain.
Bahrain Victorious Triathlon rider Henri Schumann finished second at the Montreal circuit two weeks ago, which enabled him to come out on top in the standings.
With this victory, Schumann will be a strong candidate to win the world title of the e-Triathlon Championship in the final, which will be held at the Arena Games in London next month.
