Taqyeem to adopt international practices for virtual services centers

Manama, February 24 (BNA) The Government Evaluation Committee (Taqeem) held its second meeting by default.


The meeting was chaired by the CEO of the Information and eGovernment Authority, Muhammad Ali Al-Qaed, who highlighted the important role that the committee plays in enhancing the efficiency of government services.


The Executive Council confirmed the directives of the Crown Prince and Prime Minister, His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, to provide accessible, high-quality government services that require unique initiatives.


Committee members reviewed international standards for enhancing virtual services, and discussed developing standards for adopting best practices within government systems, especially with the emergence of new digital government practices during the pandemic, to replace physical offices.


The meeting reviewed the results of the Mystery Shopper Program, which included 88 government service centers from 18 participating entities. Members discussed standardization of regulations across all entities and the use of AI to achieve greater efficiency.
