Taqyeem reviews Government Service Centers evaluation

Manama, April 17 / BNA / Muhammad Ali Al Qaed, CEO of the Information and eGovernment Authority, presided over the third meeting of the Evaluation Committee of the Government Service Center (Taqeem).


The Leader highlighted the role of the committee in improving evaluation processes related to government services in order to adhere to and advance quality standards.


The committee reviewed the results of the evaluation that was conducted and confirmed that these evaluations were conducted by an independent team consisting of representatives from various government agencies that do not participate in providing the direct service.


The CEO discussed some of the most important recommendations of the committee and the factors that contributed to the results of the best performing government service centers, and identifying those that met the requirements for golden and silver shields.


The Leader highlighted the Committee’s work in making this round of evaluations a success (Testimony 3). He reiterated the government’s commitment to maintaining high quality services as it continues its efforts towards digitization and increasing the efficiency of government services. The European Commission noted the implementation of the mystery shopper program and conducted field visits during the evaluation, which helped to achieve greater transparency.


The committee also reviewed the results of the general survey that was conducted on improving the committee’s procedures, which was prepared in line with the outcomes of the symposium held with government officials last March.


The event was held in cooperation with the Bahrain Institute of Public Administration (BIPA) and the National Communication Center (NCC).
