Job purpose

The position is responsible for developing employer branding initiatives, sourcing and selecting candidates, that support the hotel business objectives of recruiting the right and best talent to meet operational needs as a world-class hospitality icon.

Basic Responsibilities

Backers work on employer brands

Assists in strategizing and driving continuous progressive best practices in promoting the employer’s brand as an employer of choice.
Helps maintain the hotel’s position as an employer of choice and an icon of world-class hospitality.
– Helps compare with the best in class not only in international and local hospitality but in all industries around the world.
Coordinates with marketing communications on work related to the employer’s brand.
Assists in the preparation and presentation of relevant talent and culture awards.

Selects and hires the right fit and the best talent

Works with Operational ExCo and department heads and department heads to develop and propose plans related to manpower requirements in ensuring that the hotel is operating properly to the expected level of business.
Identifies recruitment needs and develops strategies for different profiles of candidates.
Promotes and manages the hotel’s peer referral program.
– Ensures fast and accurate posting of job vacancies on various websites – hotel website, job and school portals, etc.
Organizes, coordinates and actively participates in recruitment campaigns such as career and career fairs.
– Proactively sources passive candidates.
Manages the selection processes for successful recruitment.
– Evaluates and evaluates potential colleagues.
– Conducts reference checks before submitting job offers.
Discusses package prospects with candidates before submitting job offers.
Ensures a smooth transition to the talent and culture operations team upon completion of successful job offers.

Linking to major agencies and suppliers of manpower and possible sources of employment

Networks with recruitment agencies, educational institutions, government agencies, etc. for potential workforce and sources of employment to take advantage of new avenues and government grants available.

Assist in defining the compensation structure and competitive advantages

– Helps compare with the best luxury hotels in its category.
Assists with checking with other industries for innovative initiatives and programs for approval, modification and implementation.

Ensures positive candidate relationship management

A warm welcome to the candidates and personal experience.
– Candidates’ communications and responses quickly and professionally.
Ensures that unsuccessful candidates receive a response, and CVs are kept in the database for future reference.
Holds follow-up conversations with new colleagues one month after starting work to ensure proper stability and understanding of any challenges on the job.
Continues to follow up on conversations with the Talent and Culture process team.

Participation in broader functional relationships

Assists and supports the talent and culture team on projects and fellow activities as required.
Implement talent and corporate culture initiatives and programs in a timely manner.
Supports AccorHotels values ​​of guest passion, sustainable performance, open spirit, innovation, trust and respect in carrying out all duties and responsibilities, ensuring full compliance by all departments.
Participates in and supports sustainability in corporate initiatives and programs such as Planet 21 – Corporate Social Responsibility, Diversity and Inclusion, Women in AccorHotels Generation (WAAG), etc.
Performs any other duties and responsibilities that may be assigned.

Continuing challenges and shortages of national labor with limited quotas for foreign labor permits. Challenges in attracting and retaining local talent to work in the hotel industry.

Short operational cycle and lead time for forecasting manpower needs.
– Response time limit when deciding to submit job offers to candidates.
Respond to candidates in a timely manner.
– Dealing with candidates’ expectations on position and package.

Knowledge and experience

Higher education with a specialization in human resources from a reputable institution.
Working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel, Outloook, Powerpoint, Word).
