Supreme Council for Islamic Affairs President participates in international conference

Abu Dhabi, May 10 (BNA): Chairman of the Supreme Council for Islamic Affairs, Shaikh Abdulrahman bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Khalifa, participated today in the international conference on the role of tolerance and coexistence in inspiring sustainable economic growth and investment.

In his speech to the conference, the President of the Supreme Council for Islamic Affairs expressed his appreciation for the dedicated and pioneering efforts of the UAE in serving noble humanitarian causes, building bridges of communication and promoting the values ​​of brotherhood and coexistence. He expressed the Kingdom of Bahrain’s pride in the strong fraternal relations it has with the United Arab Emirates, under the leadership of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa and His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the State.

Sheikh Abdul Rahman bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Khalifa stressed the importance of the conference as an opportunity to exchange ideas and experiences and benefit from the best government practices around the world with regard to tolerance and coexistence.

The conference, in which 170 countries and 600 speakers participated, was held today in Abu Dhabi under the auspices of the UAE Minister of Tolerance and Coexistence, Sheikh Nahyan bin Mubarak Al Nahyan. The event, which is being held as part of the 2023 Annual Investment Meeting (AIM) in Abu Dhabi, brought together ministers from around the world, decision makers and officials from the Council of Muslim Elders and other relevant parties. The AIM exhibition kicked off on May 8 in Abu Dhabi under the patronage of the Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Chairman of the Abu Dhabi Executive Council, His Highness Sheikh Khalid bin Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan.
