Amman, Jan. 9 (BNA): His Majesty King Abdullah of Jordan received at Al Husseiniya Palace today a delegation of business executives of the American National Security Group (Pence).
His Majesty the King praised the strong and strategic relations between Jordan and the United States, expressing his keenness to strengthen relations across all sectors, according to the Royal Court statement.
At the meeting, His Majesty stressed the importance of expanding cooperation to face common global challenges, especially those related to food security, energy and climate change.
The statement added that the meeting also dealt with regional and international developments, particularly the Palestinian cause.
Pence is a US-based nonprofit, nonpartisan network of business and industry executives who apply best business practices to address the security challenges facing the United States, Jordan News Agency (Petra) reported.
