Manama, July 15 (BNA) On behalf of the Minister of Foreign Affairs, Dr. Abdullatif bin Rashid Al-Zayani, Acting Undersecretary for Consular and Administrative Affairs, Ambassador Khalil Yaqoub Al-Khayat, participated in the reception hosted by the French Embassy on this occasion. From the National Day of the French Republic (Bastille Day), which falls on July 14.
The ceremony was also attended by a number of senior officials and members of the diplomatic corps accredited to the Kingdom of Bahrain.
Al-Khayyat expressed his sincere congratulations to the French Republic, leadership, government and people, the French Ambassador to the Kingdom of Bahrain, Jerome Cochard, and members of the French community on the occasion of Bastille Day.
He praised the deep-rooted historical relations between the two countries, describing the joint relations as a model of constructive partnership.
