Stray Kids rank 11th on Billboard 200; BLACKPINK 68th


SEOUL, Oct. 26 (BUS): K-pop group Stray Kids maintained their top spot on the US Billboard’s main albums chart for the second week in a row with new group EP Maxident.


The eight-track album took No. 11 on the latest Billboard 200 chart updated Tuesday (US time), a week after it debuted at number one, Yonhap reported.


Case 143, the lead single from the album, is ranked 137th on the Billboard Global 200, down 78 degrees from last week.

Maxident was a huge success, exceeding sales of 2.18 million copies in its first week.


Also on the Billboard 200, BLACKPINK’s second full-length album, Born Pink, hit #68, extending its stay for the fifth consecutive week.


The album’s lead single, Shut Down, came in at number eighteen, down five points from the previous week. Her pre-released single “Pink Venom” ranked at number 27, and remained on the chart for the ninth consecutive week.


The girl group TWICE took 11th place, between 1 and 2, also at number 169 on the Billboard 200 for their eighth consecutive week on the chart.


NCT 127’s fourth full-length album, 2 Baddies, was at number 182, down 114 from 68 the previous week.
