Description of Swissotel Makkah:
Swissôtel Makkah is the first Swissotel hotel to open in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. The hotel offers 1,487 elegant rooms and suites with a modern design that complements the values of current Arab culture.
As part of the prestigious Abraj Al Bait complex, the luxury Swissôtel Makkah is a contemporary five-star hotel located in close proximity to the Grand Mosque, overlooking the Kaaba and the Grand Mosque.
Swissôtel Makkah is part of a new urban development, including two restaurants, one executive lounge, two meeting rooms and a business center. It has special entrances that make it easier for pilgrims to reach the Grand Mosque.
Summary of responsibilities:
Reporting to the Supervising Supervisor, the primary job responsibilities and functions include but are not limited to the following:
– Provide consistently professional, friendly and proactive guest service with the support of fellow colleagues
Operating an industrial dishwasher
– Ensure that kitchen mates have the required dishes/silverware and that guests have clean dishes
– Sorting, stacking and loading dishes / unloading the dishwasher
– To sort, stack and store all cleaned items in an orderly and safe manner
– Ensure that all fractures and broken things are removed from circulation and inventory
Ensure that floors are dry and clean at all times
Follow management policies, procedures and service standards
– Maintain a clean and safe work environment
Other duties assigned
qualifications:

You must be able to handle a multitude of tasks in an intense and ever-changing environment.
Follow SOP standards.

Ensure that floors are dry and clean at all times

Physical aspects of the job:
The physical aspects of the job include but are not limited to the following:
Standing and walking constantly throughout the shift
Lots of lifting and carrying up to 30 lbs
Kneeling, pushing, and pulling from time to time
Stairs, ladders, and ramps, ascending or descending from time to time
