The show was attended by German pianists Stefan Wei and Marcel Dorn, who presented a unique, strange and fun show within the 2022 Spring of Culture Festival, in cooperation with the German Embassy in the Kingdom.

The show was attended by Director General of Culture and Arts at the Bahrain Authority for Culture and Antiquities Sheikha Hala bint Mohammed Al Khalifa, German Ambassador to Bahrain Ambassador Kai Bochmann, diplomats and music lovers.

Ambassador Buchmann, known for his support of the arts and music and his eagerness to expand the close cultural ties between Germany and Bahrain, paid tribute to the performers and thanked the organizers and everyone who contributed to this outstanding possible show.

Throughout the Wednesday night entertainment, Wee and Dorn performed the perfect symbiosis of piano comedy and incredible mastery. Their show has been organized for over 25 years in more than 100 countries.

Pianotainment started in 1996 and hasn’t changed since then. It was founded by German artists Stefan Weh (born in 1976) and Marcel Dorn (born in 1977).

The humorists from Bavaria underwent extensive classical piano training starting with young children before undergoing spontaneous didactic training in jazz and blues.

Dreaming of a new kind of jazz piano performance, delivered with artistic prowess and a good dose of humor, the Entertaining Piano Show was born.
