Manama, October 30 (BNA) The Special Envoy for Climate Affairs and CEO of the Supreme Council for the Environment, Dr. Mohammed bin Mubarak bin Dina, received German Ambassador to Bahrain Kay Thamo Bokman.
Dr. Bin Dina praised the advanced level of Bahraini-German cooperation in various fields, stressing the authority’s keenness to enhance bilateral cooperation through the exchange of experiences and information to achieve the interests of the two friendly countries.
He highlighted the qualitative leap that the Kingdom witnessed in all areas related to the environment, and its active role in fulfilling its obligations in international agreements and treaties related to the environment and climate affairs.
The envoy expressed his country’s pride in the development of its relations with the Kingdom, praising the efforts of the authority in protecting the environment and addressing the effects of climate change.
He expressed his hope to increase cooperation between the two countries to contribute to unifying efforts to protect the environment and the climate in order to achieve sustainable development goals.
