Speaker receives French Ambassador

Manama, October 13 (BNA) Parliament Speaker Fawzia bint Abdullah Zainal praised the depth of Bahraini-French relations thanks to the directives of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa and President Emmanuel Macron. He stressed that the steady growth of relations between the two friendly countries contributed to expanding the horizons of joint cooperation to serve their interests.

This came in statements by the Speaker of Parliament during his meeting here today with the French Ambassador to Bahrain, Jerome Kochar, in the presence of the First Deputy Speaker of Parliament, MP Abdul Nabi Salman.

She praised the two countries’ interest in strengthening relations between them, praising the steady progress of the distinguished ties between the two countries in all fields, especially the parliamentary field.

She affirmed the parliament’s keenness to enhance its cooperation with the French National Assembly through the exchange of expertise and experience.

The Spokesman expressed his thanks to the French Republic for its positive stances, and praised the role of Ambassador Kochar in increasing the solid bridges of cooperation between the two countries and enhancing bilateral cooperation during the outbreak of the Corona virus, wishing him more success and success.

The envoy expressed his happiness at the meeting, stressing his country’s keenness to expand areas of cooperation with the Kingdom.

He praised the efforts made by the Bahrain team led by His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Crown Prince and Prime Minister, wishing the Kingdom further progress and prosperity.
