Manama, Dec. 26 (BNA): Parliament Speaker Ahmed bin Salman Al-Musallam praised the strong brotherly relations between the Kingdom of Bahrain and Egypt, especially in the parliamentary and diplomatic fields.
He stressed that the Bahraini-Egyptian relations are a role model thanks to the visions and directives of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa and Egyptian President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi.
This came in a speech by the Speaker of the House of Representatives during his meeting today with the Egyptian Ambassador to the Kingdom of Bahrain, Yasser Muhammad Shaaban.
They discussed ways to enhance bilateral cooperation, especially in the parliamentary field.
The Egyptian ambassador congratulated the Speaker of the House of Representatives on the confidence bestowed on him by members of the House of Representatives, noting the strong relations that bind the two countries and peoples. He also praised the development and prosperity witnessed by the Kingdom of Bahrain in various sectors.
The Egyptian ambassador conveyed the greetings of Dr. Hanafi El-Gabaly, Speaker of the Egyptian Parliament, stressing keenness to enhance bilateral parliamentary cooperation.
