Manama, December 21 (BNA): Parliament Speaker Fawzia bint Abdullah Zainal expressed her sincere congratulations to His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa and His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Crown Prince and Prime Minister on the occasion of the launch of the first Bahraini satellite “Light 1” “.
She also congratulated the National Security Adviser, Commander of the Royal Guard, Secretary-General of the Supreme Defense Council, His Highness Sheikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa, stressing that the launch of the first Bahraini-Emirati satellite comes as a result of the royal vision and government support. She described the achievement as a declaration to enter the world of space and new future sciences to keep pace with modern global trends and implement the new strategic plan for space sciences in the Kingdom of Bahrain.
The Speaker of the House of Representatives praised the Bahraini-Emirati cooperation and the high-level international achievement achieved by the Bahrain team. She also praised the efforts of the parties involved in launching the satellite.
