Manama, July 6 (BNA) Parliament Speaker Fawzia bint Abdullah Zainal praised His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa’s directive to distribute additional financial support to low-income families to face the effects of rising international prices.
She stressed that the royal directives to support people with low incomes confirm the keenness of His Majesty the King to take care of his citizens and mitigate the effects of changing global conditions.
Zainal stressed the legislative authority’s cooperation with the government led by His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Crown Prince and Prime Minister, to reach the desired goal, which is a better future for the country and citizens.
The Speaker of the House of Representatives praised the order of His Highness the Crown Prince and the Prime Minister, the Ministry of Social Development and the concerned authorities to grant an additional month of financial support to low-income families before the Eid al-Adha holiday.
