Speaker meets Egyptian counterpart

Manama, March 14 (BNA): Speaker of the House of Representatives, Speaker of the 146th session of the Inter-Parliamentary Union, Ahmed bin Salman Al-Musallam, and Speaker of the Egyptian Parliament, Dr. Hanafi Ali. Jabali and his accompanying delegation are participating in the 146th session of the Inter-Parliamentary Union, which is currently being held at the Bahrain World Exhibition.

During the meeting, which was attended by the Egyptian Ambassador to Bahrain, Yasser Shaaban, the two sides affirmed the depth of the Bahraini-Egyptian brotherly relations, which are steadily progressing in various fields thanks to the continuous patronage of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa. and Egyptian President Abdel Fattah al-Sisi.

The two sides discussed ways to enhance cooperation between the secretaries-general of the Bahraini parliament and the Egyptian parliament, and support bilateral coordination and integration by activating the role of parliamentary diplomacy.

Dr. Hanafi Ali Jabali praised the Kingdom’s successful hosting of the 146th Assembly of the Inter-Parliamentary Union, indicating that this success is a source of pride for all Arab parliamentarians.
