Manama, Mar. 14 (BNA): Parliament Speaker Ahmed bin Salman Al-Musallam praised the order of His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister, to double financial support for eligible individuals from social security and disability benefits. .
He praised the government’s constant interest in meeting the needs of citizens given their circumstances, and the relentless pursuit of achieving the aspirations of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa to harness all efforts for the benefit of citizens.
The Speaker indicated that doubling the disbursement of social assistance allocations will contribute to alleviating the living burdens of low-income families, given the requirements of the month of Ramadan.
He stressed that the House of Representatives supports all initiatives, projects and programs that the government seeks to achieve for the benefit of the country and all citizens, especially those who are eligible for social security and those who are eligible for disability allowances.
