Manama, September 20 (BNA) Parliament Speaker Fawzia bint Abdullah Zainal congratulated His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa on the International Day of Peace.
A similar telegram was also sent to His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Crown Prince and Prime Minister.
Zainal stressed that Bahrain embodies the highest forms of civilized peace, expressing the authenticity and values of the Bahraini people.
The Speaker of the House of Representatives affirmed that Bahrain is a symbol of coexistence and peace, thanks to the leadership of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa.
She pointed out that peace is the basis of government work for the Kingdom, headed by His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Crown Prince and Prime Minister. It seeks to achieve development goals aimed at laying the foundations of unity and love among all.
Zainal praised the King’s peace initiatives such as the establishment of the King Hamad Global Center for Peaceful Coexistence, the opening of the King Hamad Chair for Interfaith Dialogue and Peaceful Coexistence at Sapienza University in Rome, and the launch of King Hamad. The Center’s “Online Peace Program”.
The Speaker of the House of Representatives highlighted these initiatives, which reflect the Kingdom’s keenness, under the leadership of His Majesty, for peace and coexistence.
