Manama, Jan. 3 (BNA) Parliament Speaker Fawzia bint Abdullah Zainal praised the directives of His Highness the Crown Prince and the Prime Minister for the rapid documentation of all damages caused by floods and compensation for those affected by the rainfall.
The Speaker of the House of Representatives also praised His Highness’ focus on the importance of developing sustainable rainwater drainage systems, to enhance the quality of the Kingdom’s infrastructure in line with international best practices, to ensure its quality and sustainability.
In a statement, Zainal affirmed the parliament’s support for the government’s efforts and priorities to achieve the citizens’ aspirations.
She expressed her deep appreciation for His Highness’ keenness to continue promoting close cooperation between the executive and legislative authorities for further development in Bahrain.
The Speaker of the House of Representatives stressed the need to address matters and issues in cooperation with the competent authorities, in a way that contributes to achieving the nation’s goals within the comprehensive development process led by His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa.
She noted the importance of strengthening solidarity and cooperation in the spirit of national responsibility and community partnership to face all circumstances.
