Speaker affirms support for joint GCC parliamentary action

Manama, Mar. 10 (BNA): Speaker of Parliament Ahmed bin Salman Al-Musallam affirmed his strong support for the joint parliamentary work of the Gulf Cooperation Council countries in order to enhance the progress and prosperity of the GCC countries.

Addressing a coordination meeting of the Gulf Cooperation Council group before 146^y The Speaker of the House of Representatives welcomed the heads and representatives of the legislative assemblies of the countries of the Cooperation Council for the Arab States of the Gulf, and the relevant meetings that the Kingdom will host on March 11 and 15, praising their efforts in supporting joint Gulf parliamentary work.

Shura Council Chairman Ali bin Saleh Al-Saleh headed the Kingdom’s delegation to the meeting of the Cooperation Council for the Arab States of the Gulf.

During the meeting, he praised the effective role played by the Gulf legislative councils to enhance cooperation among member states, praising their positive presence in various regional and global parliamentary gatherings.
