Riyadh, January 11 (BNA): The head of the Saudi Press Agency (SPA) Fahd bin Hassan Al-Aqran was unanimously elected as the head of the Federation of Arab News Agencies (Fana) for a two-year term.

The election of peers came on the first day of the 48th session of the General Assembly of FANA hosted by SPA in the Saudi capital, Riyadh.

Al-Aqran expressed his pride in the confidence of the heads and directors of the member bodies in Fana, and said that it motivated them to move forward in joint efforts to develop the Union’s role in serving the Arab media and enhance its international presence.
