Spa Supervisor

What will you do?

To assist the Spa Manager and guide the Spa team in providing efficient, prompt and personalized service to all guests in a safe and healthy environment, in order to increase guest satisfaction and organizational profitability in an atmosphere of teamwork and high staff morale.
Responsible for keeping the spa and its surroundings in a perfectly clean and well-maintained condition.
Strictly follow the lost and found procedures.
Practice and adjust tie-breaking strategies while considering ways and means to reduce costs without affecting quality.
Effectively manage the spa division to maintain brand standards and help achieve budget and other agreed goals.
Reports directly to the Spa Manager and/or Hotel Manager and communicates with him on all relevant matters affecting his management.
Assists in supervising all areas of the spa.
Work closely with other relevant departments to ensure an efficient customer oriented process.
Establish effective open lines of communication throughout to ensure internal and external information is conveyed to all levels.
To provide employee training programs to keep pace with changes in the industry to maintain and enhance service standards for the operation.
Carry out duties in line with defined quality standards, security, health and safety requirements and applicable legislation.
– Daily briefing is conducted in the absence of the spa manager.
Establishing good relations with guests and other organizational departments, to deal with members’ complaints and suggestions promptly and professionally.
Maintain an efficient selling process to ensure all revenue is generated.
Evaluate team performance and provide feedback to the Spa Manager for individual development programs.
Effective support for guests to ensure their satisfaction with spa activities.
Schedules and performs regular routine inspections of areas under his control.
Responsible for maintaining standards to ensure facilities and equipment are clean, in good condition, well maintained and safe.
Maintains appropriate standards of behaviour, dress, hygiene, uniform, appearance and posture of spa staff.

Your experience and skills include:

Diploma or Certificate in Professional Hospitality
3-4 years experience in a 4-5 star hotel or independent spa
– At least two years supervisory experience
Minimum two years as a coach
Sales and customer service training
