Southern Governorate launches Ramadan padel tournament

Manama, Mar. 26 (BNA): The “Ramadan Tournament for Ramadan Councils and Teams” for paddle sports was launched at the Pink Padel Stadium, with the participation of 96 professional and amateur players.

The tournament, which comes within a series of Ramadan activities, coincides with the support of the Governor of the South, His Highness Sheikh Khalifa bin Ali bin Khalifa Al Khalifa, for various events and programs aimed at strengthening community partnership between various social strata.

It is also part of the Southern Governorate’s keenness to embrace distinguished and exceptional initiatives during the holy month, to ensure enhanced awareness of the importance of sports and health practices and their positive impact on the individual and society, as well as to strengthen frameworks for action. Community partnership, in support of its objectives in serving the community, by allowing everyone, professionals or amateurs, to show their abilities.

12 teams of 8 players will participate in the tournament, and the winners will be crowned on March 29.
