Manama, October 19 (BNA) The Governor of the South, His Highness Sheikh Khalifa bin Ali bin Khalifa Al Khalifa, met today through his virtual council, personalities and citizens from different parts of the southern governorate. The meeting was attended on the Internet by the Deputy Governor of the South, Brigadier General Issa Thamer Al-Dosari, and a number of officers and senior officials.
At the beginning of the meeting, the Emir of the South welcomed the attendees, stressing his keenness on continuous communication with citizens and assessing their needs in line with the directives of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa and the follow-up of His Highness. Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Crown Prince and Prime Minister.
His Highness the Southern Emir also stressed the continuation of the governorate to organize security activities to enhance security throughout the governorate. He pointed to the need for good preparation for the upcoming jobs that will be hosted by the governorate. He stressed that the governorate will witness many development projects this year, pointing to the keenness to improve services provided to citizens.
