Manama, March 26 (BNA): The Ministry of Interior held a military parade in Riffa Market under the patronage of the Governor of the South, His Highness Sheikh Khalifa bin Ali bin Khalifa Al Khalifa.
The ceremony was attended by the Deputy Governor of the South, Brigadier General Issa Thamer Al-Dosari, and a number of officials and officers representing the ministry’s agencies.
His Highness Sheikh Khalifa bin Ali bin Khalifa Al Khalifa stressed the importance of the military parade, which reflects loyalty to the homeland under the leadership of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa.
The Governor of the South praised the efforts of the government headed by His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Crown Prince and Prime Minister.
He pointed out that the military parade came within the framework of joint coordination between the Ministry of Interior and the Southern Governorate to consolidate the spirit of belonging to the homeland and strengthen community partnership.
He referred to the directives of the Minister of Interior, Major General Sheikh Rashid bin Abdullah Al Khalifa, to meet the needs of citizens and to establish security and stability.
