Social Development Ministry introduces summer programs for students

Manama, June 28 (BNA) Acting Undersecretary of the Ministry of Social Development Khaled Abdulrahman Ishaq Al-Kooheji announced the launch of the Children and Youth Clubs, the annual summer programs.


He explained that the programs will be presented during the morning and evening shifts from ten in the morning until one in the afternoon and from four in the afternoon until six in the evening, and Sunday and Tuesday are allocated for girls and Monday and Wednesday for boys.


Al-Kooheji explained that the clubs will present 27 programs and workshops during the summer, in line with the different desires of children and youth, which include several programs and purposeful activities in the fields of technology, cooking, sports, arts, Islamic, science, literature, robotics and national heritage.


The Acting Undersecretary pointed out that these programs aim to develop students’ talents and skills, organize ways and means to invest time and improve and develop their thinking and culture.
