Manama, Jan. 18 (BNA): Minister of Social Development, Osama bin Ahmed Khalaf Al-Asfoor, received Ammar Abdul-Jalil Radhi, Head of the Samaheej Islamic Center Association.
The meeting discussed the association’s activities related to social responsibilities and its efforts to promote the principles of charitable and humanitarian work.
The minister praised the development programs and activities, stressing the distinguished role played by the community in strengthening social unity and devoting work values.
He stressed the Ministry’s support for the efforts of charitable and voluntary societies and all civil society organizations, especially those that practice humanitarian work.
