Manama, Dec. 29 (BNA): The Minister of Social Development, Osama bin Ahmed Khalaf Al-Asfoor, received the President of the Bahrain Society for Multiple Sclerosis Patients, Nahla Abdulrahman Abu Al-Fateh, in the presence of the members of the Board of Directors.
They discussed ways to enhance cooperation to improve community services and programmes.
The Minister of Social Development praised the community’s contributions towards patients with multiple sclerosis, stressing the Ministry’s constant keenness to enhance the role of civil society institutions and their qualitative initiatives.
The President of the Society reviewed the main programs and projects of the Bahraini Society for Patients with Multiple Sclerosis and the efforts exerted to raise awareness of how to deal with all stages of the disease.
