Manama, August 15 (BNA) The Minister of Social Development, Osama bin Ahmed Khalaf Al-Asfoor, received today the Chairman of the Bahrain Paralympic Committee Sheikh Mohammed bin Daij Al Khalifa, with whom he discussed ways to enhance cooperation and joint coordination. To support and rehabilitate people with special needs in the sports field.
The Minister praised the efforts made by the Bahrain Paralympic Committee, thanks to the continuous support of the First Vice President of the Supreme Council for Youth and Sports, President of the Public Sports Authority and President of the Bahrain Olympic Committee, His Highness Sheikh Khalid bin Hamad Al Khalifa. The outstanding results achieved by the Paralympic movement in the Kingdom in various sports gatherings.
Sheikh Mohammed bin Daij praised the efforts of the Ministry of Social Development in providing comprehensive care for people of determination, which, according to him, contributed to protecting their rights and maximizing their gains.
He pledged that the Bahrain Paralympic Committee will do its utmost to achieve more achievements for the Kingdom in the upcoming competitions.
