Manama, September 20 (BNA): His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa’s ambitious initiatives and comprehensive visions seek to make the values and principles of peace a national and global way of life, promote human development in all fields and ensure progress. The Speaker of the Shura Council, Ali bin Saleh Al-Saleh, said that all people long for prosperity and prosperity.
Ali bin Saleh Al Saleh, in a statement on the occasion of the International Day of Peace, which is celebrated around the world under the slogan “Recovering Better for a Just and Sustainable World”, praised His Majesty the King’s tireless efforts to support peace around the world.
He referred to the establishment of the King Hamad Global Center for Peaceful Coexistence, the King Hamad Chair for Interreligious Dialogue and Peaceful Coexistence, and the launch of the King Hamad Medal for Peaceful Coexistence.
The president hailed an honorary doctorate from Moscow State University of International Relations, in appreciation of the remarkable efforts made by His Majesty the King to promote peaceful coexistence and strengthen dialogue between different religions and cultures.
He also praised the government’s efforts, led by His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Crown Prince and Prime Minister, in implementing His Majesty’s directives and projects related to peace and coexistence.
