Manama, September 20 (BNA) The Shura Council strongly rejected the false allegations contained in the resolution issued by the European Parliament regarding the United Arab Emirates, which are based on incorrect information and lack credibility and reality.
The Shura Council, one of the two chambers of Parliament, stressed that the European Parliament’s decision ignored the important achievements of the UAE in protecting human rights, supporting human development and fair treatment of all citizens and residents in accordance with its constitution and national laws.
The Council commended the UAE’s keenness to promote and preserve human rights throughout its history in line with international human development standards.
