Manama, Feb. 4 (BNA): The Shura Council and the Artificial Intelligence Research and Development Center, His Highness Sheikh Nasser, at the Nasser Vocational Training Center (NVTC) signed a memorandum of understanding.
Under the memorandum of understanding signed by the Secretary General of the Shura Council, Karima Muhammad Al Abbasi, and the CEO of the Center, Dr. Abdullah bin Nasser Al Nuaimi, His Highness Sheikh Nasser Center for Artificial Intelligence for Research and Development will provide the General Secretariat of the Shura Council with artificial intelligence solutions and advanced technologies to support its work mechanisms and achieve goals related to promoting innovation. In the work environment and the development of human capabilities in artificial intelligence.
Commenting on this, the Secretary General of the Shura Council affirmed that the signing of the memorandum of understanding comes in line with the General Secretariat’s interest in achieving the Kingdom’s aspirations, led by His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, in adopting and using artificial intelligence technology in production and productivity. Dr. Abdullah bin Nasser Al Nuaimi indicated that His Highness Sheikh Nasser Center for Artificial Intelligence for Research and Development seeks to achieve Bahrain’s economic vision 2030 with regard to integrating digital technology and its presence in the social, economic, political and other dimensions.
He added that artificial intelligence with its various solutions has become one of the priorities of the business environment agenda, as it is one of the pillars of digital transformation in the era of the technological revolution, and its role in construction and advertising. Policies through data analysis to support work and improve performance and benefit from various data analytics.
He pointed out that artificial intelligence will support the work of the General Secretariat of the Shura Council with regard to monitoring the council’s meetings, developing its outputs, and archiving data.
