Manama, November 12 (BNA) Shura Council Speaker Ali bin Saleh Al-Saleh praised the high turnout in the 2022 parliamentary and municipal elections that took place today.
He praised the citizens’ awareness and keenness to exercise their political rights, consolidate democracy, actively participate in Bahrain’s development, and support the reform project led by His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa.
His Majesty the King praised the royal support for improving national achievements and involving the people in political participation, pointing to the legislative successes achieved in the past twenty years.
Al-Saleh praised the efforts of the government, led by His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Crown Prince and Prime Minister, to facilitate the electoral process and enable citizens to exercise their national duty.
In a statement, he praised the Bahrain team led by His Highness the Crown Prince and the Prime Minister, praising the effective role of the Supreme Elections Committee, civil society institutions and the media.
