Manama, Jan. 10 (BNA) The Speaker of the Shura Council, Ali bin Saleh Al-Saleh, received the Speaker of the Jordanian Parliament, Abdul Karim Al-Daghmi and his accompanying delegation.
The President emphasized the deep Bahraini-Jordanian relations and the development in both countries under the leadership of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa and King Abdullah II bin Al Hussein of Jordan.
He praised bilateral efforts in the fields of health, education, economy, trade, security, tourism, culture and other important sectors.
Al-Saleh stressed the closeness of parliamentary relations and the constant keenness to strengthen them in a way that constitutes a unified position towards the issues discussed by regional and international parliaments.
He said that the Jordanian delegation’s visit opened an important dimension for exchanging parliamentary experiences and reviewing bilateral achievements at all levels.
The Speaker of the Jordanian House of Representatives expressed his pride in the solid relations, praising the progress and prosperity of the two kingdoms in various fields.
