Shura Chairman hails Bahrain’s robust healthcare system, infrastructure

Manama, Feb. 6 (BNA): Shura Council Speaker Ali bin Saleh Al-Saleh praised His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa’s steadfast interest in providing high-quality health services to citizens and residents, as well as providing health services. Institutions with the latest equipment, enabling the Kingdom to achieve a qualitative leap in the field of health care and to reach a distinguished position at the regional level in this regard.

While attending the opening ceremony of the Royal Medical Services Clinics (RMS) building in the Bahrain Defense Force Hospital, which was held under the patronage of His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Deputy Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces. Prime Minister Al-Saleh expressed his deep pride in the efforts made by the government to preserve the health and safety of citizens and residents, pointing to the establishment of more hospitals, treatment centers and medical clinics and providing them with highly qualified and experienced people. Competencies prove the Kingdom’s interest in the human element as the real asset of the state.

The Speaker of the Shura Council praised the Commander-in-Chief of the Bahrain Defense Force, Field Marshal Sheikh Khalifa bin Ahmed Al Khalifa, for the great role he played in establishing this advanced medical edifice, adding that the opening of the building reflects the interest of the Bahrain Defense Force in the health of its personnel, officers and families, and in providing the necessary healthy environment for them to perform their national role efficiently and competently.

He pointed out that the Kingdom’s strong health care system and its advanced infrastructure have earned Bahrain multiple achievements and global acclaim, citing the country’s impressive success in overcoming the effects of the emerging coronavirus pandemic.

He pointed out that the Kingdom is proud of an advanced and high-quality health infrastructure that qualifies it to be a role model in providing medical and treatment services, which enabled it to reach a leading position in attracting medical tourism.
